We do our best to find a lending partner for everyone who submits an application. However, there may be circumstances where we are unable to do so. In these cases we will pass your details on to a broker partner who will also attempt to find a suitable loan for you.
All our lending partners have different criteria a customer must meet in order to be successful with an application. Despite this, there are some basic criteria that all applicants must meet for Purple Payday to be able to search for a loan. You must:
1. Be an Australian citizen
2. Be 18 years or older
3. Have an active bank account
4. Have a regular source of income (minimum $800)
Although not required, you will have more success in getting a loan if you have an active checking bank account and are in full time employment.
Typical one month payday loans work on the basis that for every $100 you borrow, you will repay an extra $24. So, if you borrow $100, if repaid within the month you will repay $124. If you borrow $200 within the month you will repay $248 and so on.
We are required to collect the personal information of applicants for two reasons. Firstly, this information helps us locate a lender most suited to your requirements. If you are denied a loan by a lender on this basis, we will endeavour to match you with a lender who should be able to help.
Of course. Regardless of your credit rating, Purple Payday can help you find a loan. Many of our lending partners specialise in lending to consumers who have poor credit history. As many of the loans we match customers with are short term loans (less than 12 months), lenders are more concerned with your ability to repay credit now, rather than your past history in paying back credit.
The application process and decision time is very quick. It will only take a minute or so to enter the details required to find you a loan. Once you click submit we send your details to our trusted lending partners to attempt to find you a suitable loan. Using innovative technology, we search our lender panel and have a decision for you in just a couple of minutes. We do ask you to please be patient whilst we're searching though; and not to refresh or close the application page, as you are likely to miss out.
In most cases, Lenders will arrange to credit your account via an electronic payment. Similarly, on the agreed repayment dates, they will arrange a one-off debit payment to be debited from your chosen account. If you wish to arrange a different payment method, please contact your prospective lender directly to discuss options.
If you are struggling with repayments we strongly advise you to contact your lender directly. They may be able to discuss alternative options and help you successfully repay your loan. Please be aware that failure to repay your loan by the agreed dates will likely incur additional charges.
